Opportunity of the Wind energy in the port of Salacgriva

 

With several offshore wind farm (OWF) developments in the Gulf of Riga, Salacgriva port is welcoming the offshore wind industry.

                                                                                                      

Salacgriva port is a good base for both developers and operators; and supply chain companies.

Salacgriva port is located on the Latvia-Estonia border and this offers excellent access to OWF developments in two countries –  Latvia and Estonia.

We are an established and operating port close to the OWF areas in the Gulf of Riga with good and easy logistical links for transport of goods and people on the via Baltica highway.

According to the finished Environmental Impact Assessment, we can develop the port an additional 55 ha.

We can support the businesses coming to the port. We have made good contacts within the wind energy sector in the Baltics and are happy to support the incoming business.
