Port Board
Port Board is the highest decision-making body in the Port Authority.
Salacgriva Port (Authority’s) Board is formed by the Council of Salacgriva District in the following structure:
- Three municipality representatives in the Port Board stand for municipality’s interests;
- The protection of interests delegated by the state are provided by three law appointed ministry representatives from the 26th clause “On ports”, and the clauses related to it: representative of LR Ministry of Agriculture, representative of LR Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development, representative of LR Ministry of Traffic, representative of LR Ministry of Economics;
- Representatives of businesses running in port territory are invited to represent their interests.
Members of Salacgriva Port Board:
Dagnis Straubergs – Chairman of Port Board, represents the Council of Salacgriva District.
Dāvis Melnalksnis – Vice-chairman of Port Board, represents the Council of Salacgriva District.
Anna Vītola-Helviga – member of the board, represents Ministry of Agriculture.
Mareks Gruškevics – member of the board, represents Ministry of Enviromental Protection and Regional Development.
Inese Birziņa – member of the board, represents Ministry of Traffic.
Ilze Baltābola - member of board, represents Ministry of Economics
Kristaps Močāns – member of the board, represents tourism company SIA "Kapteinu osta" that is based in Kuivizi port.
Rolands Ķirsis – member of the board, represents fishing merchant SIA "Mistrals" that works in Salacgriva port.
Ants Ratas – member of the board, represents stevedoring company SIA "Salacgriva Nord Terminal" that is based in Salacgriva port.
